What Does an Atom Look Like? was Poliero’s first solo exhibition at New Art Projects in London, running from January 9th to February 28th, 2026. The mixed media ‘paintings’ on canvas, rendered in soft, gentle colours, are an abstract interpretation of atomic activity. The large metal sculptures and spray-painted mirrors also play with a geometric language, but exist to challenge our perception of scale in stark contrast to her picture making.
